The old saying is true. Lightning does strike twice, at least in Coffs Harbour. 
 
Defending Coffs Coast Rally champion Eli Evans and his Civic Type R were set to grab a podium finish until the car rolled in the final stage (Bucca Long 2), forcing them to retire from the rally. The same fate befell Englishman Guy Wilks in a similar car at the same event in 2008.

“It’s disappointing. I was building my confidence all weekend. We definitely improved pace so that’s a positive thing,” Eli lamented. Eli walked away with only bruises, demonstrating the strength of the J.A.S Motorsport built Honda.

Community organisation Menzies Inc. in Victoria can now upgrade its facilities for participants in its animal care program, thanks to a generous donation of $6,000 from The Honda Foundation and Travis Honda in Frankston.

The improved facilities at Sages Cottage Farm in Baxter means the stars of the organisation’s Animal Assisted Therapy program, Chloe the pig and cows Chelsea and Mac, are better equipped to show a gentler side of life to children exposed to violence, abuse and neglect in the home.

The program aims to help children aged 8 to 12 years build and maintain a positive self-image and interact positively and effectively with others, allowing ongoing personal growth and development.
